“I know that the road ahead for women in this field is going to be very challenging and I would love to have a supportive community that can create a safe and vulnerable place for women in this position.”
What is UFIIN?
We are beginning this endeavor, creating an online environment for female university student investors, to encourage our members to share their stories, open up to their issues, and present their challenges, as we know there is strength in numbers. To be successful in investing requires the practitioner embrace being less than perfect and being willing to take risks by speaking up, even when unsure. To make this happen there is a need for steady support from peers, especially after mistakes, as this allows one to learn without fear of judgment. We want our members to feel empowered by the passionate energy of like-minded women to further develop professionally and personally.
With the power of this collective harnessed to support our members, they will be able to project their newfound confidence, be better equipped to handle interview questions and more self-assured in their career journey. By providing a community of capable and engaged peers, each member of the network will have an avenue to enhance their knowledge, enrich their educational experience, and ensure that each member is moving forward.
“I truly believe we can all help uplift one another, that way we can stress that no one is alone in this battle and instead we are all learning together”
A Community
This network is designed to serve to open doors on campus and the real world supporting our members as they work to establish themselves as knowledgeable, assertive, and confident investment professionals.
